The farm
Our farm is located on a beautiful sunny plateau just above the holiday village of Taisten, in the midst of untouched nature and with a wonderful panoramic view of the majestic Dolomites. The Mahrhof is a closed farm and has been owned by our family since 1862. We run a full-time farm with dairy cattle and our own rearing. We have been offering farm holidays since 1970. We always strive to offer our guests a relaxing and unforgettable holiday.
Parents need relaxation, but the children want to let off steam. A holiday with us at the Mahrhof offers the opportunity to combine both perfectly. In the holiday apartments furnished with natural spruce wood, you can enjoy individuality and privacy. Experience the unique beauty of the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Dolomites and the unique beauty of the mountains that South Tyrol has to offer.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Take the Brenner motorway (A22) to the Brixen/Pustertal exit. Follow the road for about 44 km and take the Welsberg West exit. At the exit, turn left and follow the state road to Taisten into the village center and follow the signs to Mahrhof (approx. 2 km).
If you arrive via Osttirol, you will pass the Austrian-Italian border, follow the state road (SS49-E66) and after about 20 km take the right-hand exit Welsberg Ost. Drive through the village of Welsberg and turn right at the end of the village in the direction of Taisten.
If you arrive by train, go to Franzensfeste. All trains stop here, whether coming from the north or the south. Local trains take you to Welsberg in Pustertal. From Welsberg take the bus to Taisten.
