The farm
Farmers with heart
In the middle of a large, sun-kissed, clearing, surrounded by meadows and forests, the Lichtensternhof lies at 1,300 meters above sea level in its tranquil idyll. Orientated to the south, the view from the garden and from the balconies falls on the rugged ridges of the Dolomites, Unesco World Natural Heritage Site. The historic Rittner tram stop is only 400 meters away, and you can access the extensive, around 300 km long hiking trail network of the Rittner high plateau directly from the farm.
Our livestock is not only our livelihood, but an important part of our whole life. We treat our animals with respect and take care of each and every one of them with great commitment and joy. With us, your day begins with milk that has just spilled fresh and warm into the bucket, and freshly laid eggs. Depending on the season, there are tomatoes, vegetables, lettuce and herbs from the garden.
