The farm
We are happy to present our life and farming on Hauser Bioland-certified mountain farm. We produce certified Bioland-quality raw milk cheese, smoked sausage and 'Speck' at 1,330 m. Sustainability, closed circuits, regionality and our animals' welfare are top priority with us. Our names are Christoph and Beate, our little daughter is called Theresia and Christoph's son is called Gabriel. Hauser Hof lies in the Meran valley basin on the southern slopes of the main ridge of the Alps. The farm is one of the most exposed and steepest year-round mountain farms in South Tyrol. It was turned into an arable farm in the 15th century and is now run by the fourth generation of the Tribus family. The farm dairy and meat processing plant was created in 2012.
