The farm
At Gasserhof you live in the midst of a diverse landscape and the breathtaking mountain world of the Schlern massif and Seiser Alm plateau. Surrounded by chestnut groves, orchards, forest and green meadows, our focus is on fruit farming, so you can taste fresh seasonal fruit during your holiday, including apple varieties Golden Delicious, Kanzi, Sweetango, Envy, Cosmic Crisp and Stark Delicious. But the chestnuts and plums from our farm also taste great. In our garden you will find many different herbs. In addition to growing fruit, we keep calves, goats, chickens and rabbits, which your children are welcome to feed and pet. You can visit the stables. The young cattle stay at Gasserhof during the winter, while they graze on the farm's own pasture in spring and summer.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Coming from the north, take the Klausen motorway exit and follow the state road south. At the level of Waidbruck, the entrance to Barbian is on the right after the pharmacy. Follow this road for 5 km and in the village of Barbian follow the road for 2.5 km to Saubach. The Gasserhof is located at the crossing to Kollmann in Saubach, below the church with the red tower.
Alternatively, you can continue to follow the state road to Kollmann. There, after 3 km, a narrow road leads directly to our farm. This road is single lane and narrow, but is shown as the shortest route in the sat nav.
Coming from the south, take the Bozen Nord motorway exit and follow the state road until you turn left in Kollmann to Saubach or, at Waidbruck, turn left to Barbian and follow the road described above.
