The farm
Ausserleiterhof is located in the heart of South Tyrol, embedded in our own vineyards and apple orchards. Let yourself be enchanted by our farm, the fantastic view of the spa town of Meran and the surrounding mountains and the 'Schennan' hospitality. Ausserleiterhof gets its name from 'Weinleiten': "Leite" is still the field name of the steep vineyards directly above our farm. The Ausserleiterhof holiday home has been family-owned since 1931. As early as the 1960s, guests were welcomed here in a small bed and breakfast. In 1984 we converted the old farmhouse into our house, which we expanded in 2002 adding three holiday apartments. In 2011/12 the neighbouring building was demolished and our fourth apartment, the 'Dependance Stephanie', was built there.
