The farm
The organic mountain farm Ausserglieshof in Matsch in Vinschgau in South Tyrol is in a sunny and quiet location, surrounded by forest and meadows at 1,800 m above sea level. It's an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and ski tours as well as snowshoe hikes.
Our farm is a traditionally run ancestral farm that has been owned by the Theiner family for more than 250 years.
Our comfortable apartments and rooms exude the charm and soothing scent of pine, which will help you to get a good night's sleep. Once awoken by the crow of the rooster, follow the scent of the freshly-baked cake. A hearty farmer's breakfast with lots of farm produce awaits you.

Arrival
Coming from the Reschen Pass, take the main road to Tartsch. Shortly after the village, turn left towards Matsch. Drive through the village of Matsch and continue on this road for 7 km. At the end of the valley you will find our farm on the right-hand side.
Coming from Bolzano, take the main road until just before Tartsch. There you turn right into the Matschertal valley. Drive through the village of Matsch and continue on this road for 7 km. At the end of the valley you will find our farm on the right-hand side.
