Experiences for the family album

Boredom on the farm? There's no such thing! During a family holiday on a farm in South Tyrol, the hours fly by. There is plenty to discover, explore and investigate. While the children are wide-eyed when they visit the stable, the parents can sit back and relax.

Boredom on the farm? There's no such thing! During a family holiday on a farm in South Tyrol, the hours fly by. There is plenty to discover, explore and investigate. While the children are wide-eyed when they visit the stable, the parents can sit back and relax.

A day on the farm in South Tyrol begins early in the morning with a moment of excitement. As soon as the children hop out of bed, they rush to the chicken coop to see if their favourite hen has laid an egg. The children take the egg carefully out of the nest and bring it to their parents, protected like a treasure. Punctually in the late afternoon, the children have their next appointment not to be missed: a visit to the stables. They can lend a hand and help care for the animals. Cows, sheep and horses have to be fed and the stable cleaned out. You can watch the farmer at work while milking and learn where the milk comes from. The little ones also make animal friends in the petting zoo. Here rabbits, ponies and goats run around and are just waiting to be petted. The most adorable time on the farm? Definitely spring, when everyone is happy about the newly hatched baby animals. Throughout the day, the little guests get an insight into farm life and learn something new each day in a playful way. At the fruit farm you will learn how the different apple varieties taste and how they are processed into apple juice or dried fruit.

Nature as an adventure playground

Pure nature: a family holiday on a farm in South Tyrol means freedom and plenty of space for young and old to thrive. Whether on the lovingly set up natural playground, the green meadow or in the nearby forest clearing, the children's spirit of discovery gets its money's worth here. On the farm, the children are kept busy for hours outdoors. In between, the little ones will find tasty berries in the snack garden. Every now and then, one of the many cats shows up and waits to be stroked. The farm dog is a loyal companion on exploration tours and the children never let him out of their sight. Seeing the farmer turning the corner on the tractor will make children's eyes light up and round off their perfect farm experience. While the little ones are well taken care of, the parents can relax under the cherry tree and enjoy their holiday. And when it rains? How about jumping in the hay where it's dry, handicrafts with the farmer or entertainment in the playroom? Every day is an adventure on the farm.

Family-friendly accommodation

The family atmosphere on the farm is unbeatable. The farm family takes great care of their guests. This is precisely why children quickly warm to their hosts. When staying on a farm in South Tyrol, families particularly appreciate the informality and the opportunity to organise the day according to the needs of the children. The holiday apartments and rooms on the farm are very spacious and offer enough room for the whole family. Grandma and Grandpa also feel right at home. Some hosts cater especially to families and also offer baby equipment.
