General Terms and Conditions

Prices

All prices are intended to apply per person and per cooking event and include VAT. All ingredients for preparing a 4-course menu including welcome aperitif and wine accompaniment (1 glass per course), water and a copy of the recipes in paper form are included.
Any on-site purchase of merchandising, purchase of farm products from Föhrnerhof and consumptions additional to those set out in the offer are subject to extra charge.

Payment

Payment can take place via SEPA direct debit, credit card payment, PayPal or bank transfer by the deadline stated in the invoice.

Cancellation and reimbursement

Our cooking events take place when the minimum number of 7 persons is reached. We reserve the right to cancel the event up to four days before the set date. When we cancel an event, the total amount is reimbursed via the method selected for payment.

You may cancel an event up to 22 days before the set date free of charge. You will receive back the amount paid on booking via the selected method of payment.

  • If you cancel an event between 21 days before the set date and the date of the event itself, the following cancellation conditions apply:
  • Cancellation between 21 days and 15 days before the set date: 50% of total price
  • Cancellation between 14 days and 8 days before the set date: 75% of total price
  • Cancellation less than 8 days before the set date: 100% of the total price
  • Cancellation fees are deducted from the amount already paid.
  • In cases of no-show or guests leaving an event early, the total booking amount applies. 


We kindly ask you to let us know in good time if you cannot attend an event. If you are not able to take part in the event, there may be another person who can take your place.

Food allergies or intolerances

Our cooking events have a fixed, seasonal menu, meaning that special wishes cannot be fulfilled. If you have any food allergies or intolerances or cannot eat certain foods for personal reasons, please let us know by email at info@roterhahn-cookeryschool before booking a cooking event. We will try to find an alternative for you.
 

Obligation to notify and prohibition of participation in case of communicable diseases

You have to inform us before participating in an event whether you have any symptoms or illnesses that are contagious, particularly those that are transmissible to humans through food. Signs of those are for example infected wounds, skin infections, diarrhoea, and the like. In these cases, participation is prohibited.
