Route description

The winter hike starts in Saltria, which you can reach by the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway and the Almbus n. 11, and leads along the forest path no. 9, passing the two hotels Floralpina and Tirler. The path continues for a short stretch along the stream,  crosses right at the fork after Tirler and then turns immediately left and climbs steadily through the forest in numerous bends until it leads out onto open Alpine meadows. A final ascent leads up to the Refuge Hotel Zallinger and the idyllically situated little church. Return to Saltria along the same route, which is also a sledge run.

General description

This winter hike starts in Saltria and leads past the Floralpina and Tirler hotels to the refuge Berghaus Zallinger and the church of the same name, in the immediate vicinity of the Plattkofel valley basin.
