Route description

From the Parish Church in the Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley – S. Maddalena 1398 m you walk along the Via Bergerstraße, passing by the hamlet Huben (starting point a), until reaching the top of the skilift. From there on follow the trail sign no. 10. A comfortable hike through the coniferous forest to Aschtalm 1950 m. Refreshment stop.

Equipment
Recommended:
Hiking boots with good grip, high-quality socks to prevent blisters, weather-appropriate clothing, rain jacket, rain protection, dry T-shirt and sun protection (sunscreen/hat).

Pay attention to stay hydrated on hot days – always carry enough water in your backpack!
In higher altitudes, summer storms can quickly become dangerous – check the weather forecast in advance and plan your tour carefully.
Also a first aid kit should always be carried!
