The family walk starts in Karersee | Carezza (1600 m) at the chair lift Paolina parking. After the ascent with the chair lift, follow the path [539] from the Paolina hut (2125 m) until the Christomannos monument. The path [549] then continues to Rotwand | Roda di Vael hut and Pederiva hut. For the way back take the same route.

Easy hike for the whole family along scenic mountain trails at the foot of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio. The highlight of the route is the visit to the Christomannos Monument: an impressive bronze eagle erected in honor of Theodor Christomannos, a pioneer of tourism in the Dolomites.
From the monument, a breathtaking view opens up over the Fassa Valley and the Eggental | val d'Ega Valley, stretching all the way to the majestic Latemar Group.
